Blockbuster Uppena’s amazing feat on the small screen

Mega hero Vaishnav Tej and beautiful Krithi Shetty debuted into films with a romantic drama titled, Uppena. Released in the month of February, the film turned out as a blockbuster success at the box office by collecting close to Rs 100 gross.

After impressing the audience, the film had its first-ever Television premiere last week on the noted entertainment channel Star MAA. Now, according to the latest reports, Uppena has registered a staggering TRP’s of 18.5 which is an amazing feat among small/ medium range films.

Also starring Kollywood star actor Vijay Sethupathi, Uppena was directed by debutant Buchi Babu Sana. Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Yalamanchili bankrolled the film under Mythri Movie Makers banner. Devi Sri Prasad scintillating music is a major plus for the movie.
