BJP and Congress Get Into A War Of Words After News Of Kiccha Sudeep Surfaced

After the announcement that Kiccha Sudeep had joined the party emerged online, the congress leader Randeep Sujewala made a jab at the incumbent party, claiming that they are now depending on movie stars to draw crowds. The party reacted quickly and dragged Rahul Gandhi into the altercation.

Sudeep the actor will reportedly join the BJP party before the Karnataka assembly elections, according to a source. Notably, Congress attacked the party, claiming that since no one shows up to hear Bommai and other Saffron party officials speak, they are now turning to celebrities for support. The party found the jab offensive and inquired about Rahul Gandhi receiving flowers from Bollywood star Swara Bhaskar.

Actor Kiccha Sudeep recently refused rumors that he had joined any political party and declared that he would only back the chief minister of Karnataka. In a tweet directed at him, Congressman Randeep Surjewala claimed that citizens, not movie personalities, would determine the state’s future. The moment his tweet gained traction and caught the attention of the governing party, they responded angrily.

Annamalai, the president of the BJP in Tamil Nadu, posted a photo of Rahul receiving flowers from Swara during the Bharat Jodo Yatra on Twitter. He claimed that the BJP is winning over nationalist voices in the entertainment business, which has alarmed Congress.

Kiccha Sudeep, a well-known Kannada industry figure, has made it clear that while he won’t join the party, he will back CM Basavaraj Bommai, whom he refers to as his uncle (mama).
