Dhruv Vikram’s new film Bison directed by Mari Selvaraj, hit theaters today, October 17th coinciding with Diwali.
The sports drama focuses on determination, hard work and resilience with Dhruv playing a Kabaddi player.
Promotions, trailers and posters created strong hype, and the film has opened well, meeting audience expectations.
Bison is expected to stream on Netflix after a four-week theatrical run, likely by the second week of November although the official OTT release date is yet to be announced. This allows fans to experience the film both on the big screen and digitally.
The movie, carrying a strong social message has received positive reviews from critics and audiences. Nivas K. Prasanna’s music, Esil Arasu K’s cinematography and Sakthi Thiru’s editing effectively enhance the emotions and visuals. Dhruv considers Bison his true debut and delivers a powerful, winning performance.
