1) Hailing from legendary Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao’s family, NTR Junior was born on May 20th, 1983 to Nandamuri Harikrishna and Shalini.

2) NTR Junior’s original name was Tarak but while shooting for Brahmarshi Vishwamitra when he was 13, Tarak’s grandfather NT Ramarao changed his name to NTR.

3) NTR did his schooling at Vidyaranya High, Hyderabad

4) Though Tarak’s film as an actor is Brahmarshi Vishwamitra, the film was shelved during the shooting stage itself. Later, Tarak made his silver screen debut as a child artist with the 1996 film, Balaramayanam.

5) In 2001, NTR Junior made his debut as the lead hero with Ninnu Choodalani film but tasted success with his second film, Student No.1 which released in the same year.

6) NTR is a trained Kuchipudi dancer. He performed in many stage shows during his teenage.
