Tamannaah faced a setback as the Madras High Court dismissed her Rs 1 crore case against Power Soaps Limited.
The court said there was not enough proof to support her claim that the company used her images without permission.
The issue started in 2008 when Tamannaah signed an endorsement deal with the company for one year. The agreement ended in 2009.
She later claimed that the company continued using her photos in ads and on products during 2010 and 2011 without her consent which affected her career and brand value.
However the court found the evidence she provided was not strong or clear enough. Her case was dismissed earlier, and now even the High Court rejected her appeal, supporting the previous judgment.
