Big Relief For NTR In Legal Battle
NTR has approached the Delhi High Court seeking protection of his personal rights and reputation from misuse and false content on social media and e-commerce platforms.
After examining the issue, the court passed an order safeguarding the personality and publicity rights of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.
The court granted protection against the unauthorised use of his name and popular identifiers such as NTR, Jr NTR, Tarak, and other related names along with his titles like Man of Masses and Young Tiger. It also restricted the misuse of his image, likeness and identity.
The order highlighted the growing need to protect public figures in the digital age and warned that any misuse or misrepresentation harming his reputation would invite strict legal action.
The court also directed that such unauthorised content must be removed as per the law. This comes as a major relief for Tarak who often faces online trolling, morphed images and AI-generated content.
