The beast of all blockbusters, the movie that made Telugu audience proud with its undeniable acceptance all over the Nation, Baahubali is now not just a film, but it’s an Universe of its own. S.S. Rajamouli with his vision built a larger than life setting for a story that is very very common yet grounded it in reality. He brought in the super human quality of Baahubali and his son to the forefront while he left us in awe and question, Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?
He is coming with an answer to the question, in Baahubali the Conclusion but as we all have wondering with such an ambiance, roaring success and expandable premise will the makers stop with just a second film? The answer for this question has come from the horse’s mouth directly.S.S. Rajamouli and major players of Baahubali team like Producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni along with Prabhas and Rana. It was like both male leads were representing the cast, producers representing the money and planning team, and S.S. R representing the entire creative team for the press meet. With the hastag #WKKB – #Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali the team released the official poster design.
On October 1st, the team is planning to release an animated virtual reality teaser for the Virtual reality video that is specially being made at a budget of 25 crores. This will be the first of its kind promotional video. One month before release of the movie virtual reality making videos will hit the special screens for the audience. On October 5th , team promised a great news for Prabhas, not his marriage, but some big thing which will make entire South India proud.
On October 22nd, the team is planning to release first look on the occasion of Prabhas birthday. On 23rd of October comic books and making video will be released. The movie team shared further details that owing to previous movie experience they have already shot VFX heavy parts of the film and sent it to the studios for completion of graphic work in time. Still there are two songs, few scenes, a small action sequence and patch work to be completed. All these will be shot by the end of December and each and every member will be relieved from their Baahubali duty. The teaser of the movie will release in January 2017 and no change in Film release date April 28 2017.
Prabhas in his interaction said that he thought of making another movie in 4 months gap in between the films but it felt like releasing small rivers while an ocean is in the making. His next movies will be with Sujeet of Run Raja Run fame and Radha Krishna. Rana said he is proud to be a part of an Hollywood film produced in Telugu. He quoted it to be a big Banyan Tree and the film is just one branch. Rajamouli in his conclusion said that Baahubali is an Universe of its own and it will continue long after 2nd movie too in the form of comics, animation and virtual reality videos. He also teased that there is a chance for third film. So after Star Wars, the film that translates itself into an Universe will be our own Telugu ‘Baahubali’!
