Natural Star Nani’s family drama, Tuck Jagadish was supposed to release in the month of April but is postponed due to the theatres shutdown and widespread of Corona second wave cases across twin Telugu states. Soon after the release is halted, reports came out that the makers are planned to skip the theatrical release and opt for a direct OTT release of the film.
But the makers have trashed the OTT news as a baseless rumour. But the latest news coming from our reliable sources is that Tuck Jagadish is going to skip its theatrical release and go for a direct digital streaming.
Reportedly, popular OTT channel Amazon Prime Video has bagged the film’s rights by offering a fancy amount to Tuck Jagadish makers. An official announcement regarding Tuck Jagadish’s digital streaming is expected to be out soon.
Being helmed by Siva Nirnava, Tuck Jagadish has Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, Jagapathi Babu among others in prominent roles. Thaman is the music composer. Harish Peddi and Sahu Garapati bankrolled this emotional drama jointly.
Incidentally, Nani’s silver jubilee film, V also opted for a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime last year but failed to impress the viewers.
