Big B also helps Telugu Film Daily Wagers!

To support Telugu Film Industry workers, especially, Daily Wagers, Chiranjeevi converted his Trust account into Corona Virus Charity account – CCC, in association with Mana Kosam Trust established by Telugu Film Industry bigwigs and various associations. He collected funds from all the actors, directors whoever came forward to donate through CCC and started distribution of groceries as first phase of plan to many film workers houses after identifying the most needy. Also, from the trust few payments have been made to workers as compensation during the lack of working days during lockdown period.

Big B asked Chiranjeevi to do a video with him for an awareness campaign on staying at home recently and during their conversation Chiru mentioned about CCC, it seems. The big hearted Amitabh Bachchan, Shehshah of Bollywood came forward to help the workers further, by talking to Big Bazaar. The actor came forward to provide Rs. 1500 worth coupons to 12,000 workers which can be redeemed across the stores of Big Bazaar in Hyderabad. These are named as Corona Relief Coupons and the distribution will happen soon. Chiranjeevi himself shared this good news on Twitter.

He wrote,

“Amit ji @SrBachchan has arranged 12000 Corona Relief Coupons of Rs1500 each to be distributed to the Daily wage Film workers in Telugu States from the proceeds of #Family.A BIG THANK YOU to ‘BIG B’ for this wonderful initiative.These coupons can be redeemed at #BigBazaar stores”

Well, every actor is coming forward to help their fellow members of the fraternity when time has arrived. May be we don’t need to be harsh on them when they appear to be slightly moody when we ask for selfies or autographs as they have their own personal and professional tensions to adhere too!
