It is widely known that Kollywood star Suriya owns a production house named 2D Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Earlier, he produced last year direct to digital released Soorarai Pottru on his production house which was premiered on noted OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. Currently, Suriya is ready with his digital debut anthology film, Navarasa that will be premiering on digital giant Netflix on August 6th.
Meanwhile, the latest news is Suriya’s 2D Entertainment banner has collaborated with Amazon Prime Video and is all set to release four films starting from September. As the first outing, a film titled Raamee Aandalum Raavane Aandalum directed by Arisilmoorthy is gearing up for a September release. Ramya Pandian and Krishh will be seen in the lead roles in this rural drama which revolves around the raising bulls concept.
For the month of October, a movie titled, Udanpirappe starring Suriya’s wife Jyothika and Sasi Kumar, the film is being helmed by Saravanan. The film is said to be a strong-rooted story about sibling love and emotions. In November, Suriya starrer Jai Bhim directed by Gnanavel will be premiering. Touted as an intense social drama, the film will revolve around social inequalities in society and how a lawyer will fight for the equality of lower communities in society.
Lastly, a film titled, Oh My God starring Arun Vijay in the lead role will be out in December. Being directed by Sarov Shanmugam, the film explores the true friendship between a boy and his pet dog. Confirming the same, Suriya took to Twitter and revealed the news along with the first look posters of the respective month release films.
