Bhumika Chawla is the reason behind the title “Kisi ka Bhai Kisi ki Jaan”

Bhumika Chawla has explained that she is the reason Salman Khan is referred to as “Bhai” in the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan movie.

The Bollywood star and actress Bhumika Chawla, who won over the audience with her depiction of Nirjara in “Tere Naam” alongside Salman Khan, have reconnected almost two decades after their final film together. On April 21, the movie “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” which stars the two, will be released in theatres.

Salman was in the actress’s first Hindi movie, and she is “very happy to be reunited with him after 20 years.” “The fans of ‘Tere Naam’ frequently wonder when Radhe and Nirjara will get together,” she said. They can see and Salman together in “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” even if “Tere Naam 2” may take some time.

Bhumika Chawla reminisced about a time when she greeted Salman Khan as “Salman bhai” in public. She claimed, “I called him ‘Salman bhai’ on stage when we went to the audio premiere of ‘Tere Naam’. I was matched opposite him, so I later learned that I can’t say. He goes by this moniker since the entire nation reveres him, so at first I called him Salman bhai, and he used to say, “You can call me Salman.” I continued to refer to him as Salman Sir throughout the production of this movie, up until around 70% of the shooting was finished. You can call me Salman if you want, he continued once more.

The actress also spoke about late Satish Kaushik, the director of ‘Tere Naam‘. She shared: “His passing away came as a shock to the whole industry or the whole country. Few days before his demise, I saw many social media posts of him where he mentioned that he has started working out a lot. He was on his way to a fitter lifestyle, and when something of this sort happens, it makes you realise that life is just a bubble.”

Regarding a scene from the movie “Tere Naam” in which Salman Khan’s Radhe held her character hostage, Bhumika said: “We were losing the light during that moment as it was being shot after the golden hour. When shooting outside, natural light is essential, and once it starts to fade, tension on the sets increases. Industry insiders would know this.

“I was really nervous as the stakes were high and we had to wrap up the scene before darkness set in. I started fumbling and couldn’t deliver my lines. That’s when Salman walked upto Satish ji and told him, ‘Let her take time as it’s new for her. The more stress we put on her, the more it will turn out to be worse for the scene. That gave me a huge boost of confidence and I delivered my lines perfectly,” she concluded
