Bhimaa Pre-release Business: Can Gopichand Achieve This Target?

Gopichand’s upcoming film “Bhimaa” is set to hit screens on 8th March, coinciding with Shivaratri. The recently released trailer has generated significant buzz, particularly due to its action sequences infused with a mysterious element. The movie’s success is anticipated to hinge greatly on positive word of mouth, given its genre.

Being a holiday release and falling under the mass film category, “Bhimaa” is expected to draw substantial audience attention, potentially leading to significant box office openings. In terms of pre-release business, the movie has already secured a promising deal in Andhra across six territories, amounting to a business ratio of 6Cr.

The rights for the Telugu states have been valued at Rs 12Cr, while the worldwide rights stand at 14Cr. Post the trailer release, there has been a surge of interest among buyers, indicating strong market anticipation for the film. Notably, the OTT rights have been acquired by Disney+ Hotstar, and the satellite rights by Star Maa.

Directed by Kannada filmmaker A Harsha, known for his work in films like “Vedhaa” and the “Bhajarangi” series, “Bhimaa” is produced by KK Radhamohan under the banner of Sri Sathya Sai Arts. The film has good cast including Priya Bhavani Shankar and Malvika Sharma, while the background score is composed by Ravi Basrur. With such a blend of talent and anticipation surrounding its release, “Bhimaa” seems poised to make a full impact at the box office.
