When it was announced that Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati would be seen together in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshium, fans and general audiences were immensely happy, given that two big actors would be coming together on the big screen after some time. This aside, there was a lot of criticism when the title of the film was announced to be Bheemla Nayak, which happens to be Pawan’s character’s name in the film, as Rana too is a part of the film, and yet the makers chose to name the film after Pawan’s character.
The criticisms have slowly died down now, and after the release of the trailer, the expectations on the film have increased, and fans are very much looking forward to watching the movie as soon as possible. The film has been announced to release for Sankranthi 2022, but the makers are said to be considering pushing the release to January 26th.
Fans are now requesting the makers to release the film as per their initial plan, and while this is one hurdle, there’s a bigger hurdle and a major test ahead for Bheemla Nayak. In recent times, remakes aren’t getting a good response from audiences as they feel that the remakes aren’t able to live up to expectations, the best example being Narappa. Now, Bheemla Nayak, while carrying good buzz, should also be able to live up to the original’s name.
