Pawan Kalyan’s recently released movie, Bheemla Nayak, premiered on Disney Hotstar at midnight, on March 24th. There were a lot of expectations on the film’s performance on OTT and looks like it hasn’t disappointed.
Bheemla Nayak was even trending on Twitter last night and the viewership is also said to have been really high since its release. While the exact numbers haven’t been stated yet, they are said to be high enough. There were comparisons with Balakrishna’s Akhanda, in the lead up to the release of Bheemla Nayak on Hotstar, given that the kind of euphoria Akhanda created, didn’t die down for days.
When Hotstar releases the viewership numbers, it would be clear whether it performed on par with Akhanda or not. Nevertheless, Bheemla Nayak lived up to its expectations on OTT. Bheemla Nayak is directed by Saagar K Chandra and features Rana Daggubati playing the antagonist, while director Trivikram Srinivas has written the script and dialogues of the film.
