The last time that Pawan Kalyan was ever seen at a pre-release event was at the pre-release event of Sai Dharam Tej’s Republic, where his speech was the most talked about, considering his politically charged statements, against the YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh.
This caused a lot of trouble for Tollywood, given that the AP government drastically decreased the prices of tickets, an issue that’s still being resolved by members of the industry and the AP government. After several trials, the AP government finally agreed to increase ticket prices recently, after a delegation from Tollywood met with CM Jagan.
Given that things are only starting to settle down now, the makers of Bheemla Nayak are said to be scared of what the pre-release might put them up against, especially considering the speech that Pawan Kalyan would be giving at the event. It is being said that the makers are hoping that the actor doesn’t talk about anything political, as doing so would greatly impact the collections of Bheemla Nayak in AP if the government takes a serious action. Also, if Pawan Kalyan’s speech turns out to be politically charged, there’s also the chance that the government goes back on its plan to revise the ticket prices.
