Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise, which was released in December 2021, became the highest opener in Tollywood after the theatres opened following the second wave of corornavorus. The film had a good run at the box office at well, compared to many other films, after the second wave, becoming the biggest hit.
Now, Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak, which was released yesterday, has surpassed the collections of Bunny’s Pushpa: The RIse, by collecting Rs. 25.80 Crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, on its first day. This is despite the lowered ticket prices and lack of permission for any extra, special or benefit shows for the film, purely due to the star power of Pawan Kalyan.
Bheemla Nayak is the official remake of the Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshium and is directed by Saagar K Chandra, with director Trivikram Srinivas writing the script and dialogues for the film. Rana Daggubati plays the antagonist in this film, which has gotten a good response everywhere.
