Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited film, Bheemla Nayak, was released today, and opened to great numbers, both in Telangana and in the US. The numbers in the US have been the best in Pawan Kalyan’s career so far, and the response to the film has also been terrific everywhere. Fans have been loving the film, and the actor’s dialogues and action in it.
While the film’s collections are strong everywhere, the situation is quite different in Andhra Pradesh, with some theatres being shut down by the AP government, for selling tickets at higher prices. The AP government is being criticised for specifically targeting Pawan Kalyan’s film, and making sure that the film doesn’t do amazing business.
Reports suggest that Bheemla Nayak lost as much as Rs. 20 Crores on the first day because of this. On the other hand, while the new GO regarding the increased ticket prices was supposed to have come out by now, it has been delayed due to the passing of AP Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy, which has caused a lot of trouble for the film.
