Kamal Haasan and Shankar‘s movie “Bharatiyadu 2” premiered on July 12. Despite high hopes, the film received negative feedback right from the first show. However due to the popularity of its predecessor ‘Bharatiyadu’, it had a good opening on the first day despite the criticism. Subsequently the movie’s performance declined from the second day onwards and continued to decrease during the weekdays.

The Telugu version of “Bharatiyadu 2” has earned Rs. 24.5 crores from its theatrical run. To break even, it needs to earn a share of Rs. 25 crores. By the end of 8 days, the film had collected a share of Rs. 14.32 crores, which is a good start. To reach the break-even point, it still needs to collect another Rs. 10.68 crores.
