Bharat Ane Nenu’s runtime still undecided

Run-time in Telugu films has become a problem ever since, the new wave directors decided to go for more content in less time, rule. Many decided to not let the run-time go beyond 115 to 140 minutes, which means a film could run from 5 minutes below two hours to 20 minutes past 2 hours range at the theatres on a regular basis. Sukumar, SS Rajamouli, Sandeep Reddy Vanga decided that their films can be almost three hours long as they had an arresting story to tell.

Koratala Siva, is known to be a director who can balance the story with all the masala elements. He manages to not drag the movie beyond 150 to 155 minutes. But for Bharat Ane Nenu, the run-time is over 180 minutes, that is, 3 hours long runtime. The cut is still needed to be finalized and the team is thinking about a run-time of around 150 to 160 minutes. The team has completed the shoot and post-production works are also in their final stages.

Now, the team wants to decide on the final cut after completing the censor formalities. They want to see how much of it will be objected by the censors and want to have a buffer if more than 10 minutes is cut by censors under any pretext. So, the movie run-time is still a question mark and only after censorship is done, we will get a clarity on the matter. Jr. NTR has confirmed his presence for the pre-release event at the L.B Stadium on 7th April, in Hyderabad. Fans are excited to see two huge stars at the same time on the single stage.
