Mahesh Babu is known for delivering high impact movies every now and then, that push his market and give him a big blockbuster. His Bharat Ane Nenu, us settling down to be such a film. The movie collected Rs. 39 crores share in two Telugu states in the first weekend and Overseas has been phenomenal too. The movie collected more than 2.5 Million USD in USA and even Tamil Nadu, Karnataka are performing more than expected. Along with them, even Australia, UAE have contributed much higher than expected.
The total Worldwide share is said to be Rs. 60- 60.5 crores. This is a huge collection for any Telugu film in first weekend and the 4th day collections are also upto be solid. The movie is expected to cross Rs. 100 crores share mark by the end of its theatrical run. In a media Interview, Mahesh expressed happiness in delivering a huge hit after two big disasters. He said, “I, my team and my family were under pressure. I wanted to deliver a huge hit and my wife supported me through tough times. I should thank her more, for this.”
He later said, “I have done films that push me in different directions but the Press Meet scene made me dig deeper and deliver a convincing performance. Even the crew did not know what I am going to do next and it came out from my heart. I enjoyed being a part of Bharat Ane Nenu and I would rate it as my best performance in years and better film than Srimanthudu.”
