In Telugu Film Industry, producers used to announce release dates during the last schedule of their film shoot. But that approach these days has lead to confusion and also, with huge budgets involved, the quality big films are taking much time to complete. So, the producers are approaching a more sensible model of announcing the release dates before hand.
New big movies, release dates are being planned way before the film goes on floors and if there are any changes, different producers are sitting down to discuss and finalise dates, so that, no big film is hurt. Bharat Ane Nenu and Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, producers announced same release date, 27th April. Both sticked to same date until recently they had discussions with distributors and exhibitors. Finally, they both decided 20th April release date Bharat Ane Nenu and 4th May for Naa Peru Surya.
Interestingly both films are coming with social relevant themes. In BAN, Mahesh Babu is playing Chief Minister of a state and in NPS, Allu Arjun is an army officer. Bharat Ane Nenu, has entered the final leg of the shooting and the producers have started promoting the film. They released a teaser, recently, Vision of Bharat and it has gone viral. Now, the audio event is being scheduled on 7th April or another date nearby in April first week. The official announcement regarding this will arrive in few days time.
