The Telugu Film Producers Council and the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce recently had a meeting to make critical decisions about the release dates of future films scheduled for February 8 and 9.
Initially, Raviteja‘s film “Eagle” dropped out of the Sankranthi competition, promising a solo release date in Telugu states. Other films targeting the same release date include Sandeep Kishan‘s “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona,” YS Jagan’s unofficial biopic “Yaatra 2,” and Rajnikanth’s cameo appearance in “Laal Salam.”
After discussions between the associations and the producers, “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona” graciously decided to step aside, allowing “Eagle” to fulfill its promised solo release on February 9th. Dil Raju, speaking at a press conference, mentioned that despite efforts, the makers of “Yaatra 2” and “Laal Salam” couldn’t accommodate the request to change their release dates.
As a result, “Eagle” is set to hit theaters on February 9th, while “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona” has rescheduled to February 16th. “Yaatra 2” is scheduled for release on February 8th, alongside dubbed movies like “Laal Salaam” and “True Lover” premiering on the 9th.
