“Bhagam Bhag” is making a comeback after 18 years, “Bhagam Bhag 2” is finally in the works.
“Bhagam Bhag” starring Akshay Kumar, Govinda, and Paresh Rawal, is considered one of Priyadarshan’s most iconic films. It holds a special place in Akshay career.
Sarita Ashwin Varde of Roaring River Productions has acquired the rights for the sequel from Shemaroo Entertainment and is working on the script. Sarita, along with Shemaroo, will produce the film.
When asked about the delay in making the sequel, Sarita said, “A special film like “Bhagam Bhag” deserves an equally special sequel. When the time felt right, we decided to go for it”.
Sarita a seasoned filmmaker has been a creative force behind her husband Ashwin Varde.
Hiren Gada expressed interest saying “We are thrilled to partner with an amazing team to create a sequel that lives up to the legacy of its predecessor bringing more laughter and entertainment”.
This film is set to begin production in 2025.
