  • Kousalya Krishnamurthy

The movie did not become as successful as its original in Tamil. Movie had similar elements, same narrative structure and even the scenes were not changed by the makers. They went ahead and used original film’s producer, actor Sivakarthikeyan’s performance as it is. They just used dubbing artist’s voice for his parts. Even though such measures take you out of the film, the story that it tries to narrate is inspiring enough. Watch it for Aishwarya Rajesh and Rajendra Prasad performances.

  • Rakshasudu

The best horror-thriller in recent times. Horror is not just about super natural elements like ghosts. It can have a powerful psycho killer and even powerful story, screenplay to engage us. Makers did not change even camera angles, movement from the original but Rajeev Kanakala scores more brownie points for his performance in the movie than original Tamil actor. • Petta

Just for the Rajni Fan in all of us, this movie is a must. His best styling and character too, in the last decade. Rajni never saw such a slump in his career so much that his films either fail to satisfy his fans or his character seems to have no elements that can be associated with Superstar Rajni. After Kabali and Kaala kind of films, where he tried to re-invent he went back to his strengths in this film. The first hour of the film is still highly entertaining. It is the climax that director, Karthik Subbaraj messed up but he presented Rajni, the best.
