Kalyanram decided to go for a thriller film for the first time in his career. He submitted himself to the story and did not try to induce any unnecessary heroic elevations at all. Nivetha Thomas performed really well in this movie and she holds the story together as well. This thriller has many supernatural elements but climax is highly imaginative and well shot for the budget movie had. Watch this film again and you won’t be bored at all.
Just for the Rajni Fan in all of us, this movie is a must. His best styling and character too, in the last decade. Rajni never saw such a slump in his career so much that his films either fail to satisfy his fans or his character seems to have no elements that can be associated with Superstar Rajni. After Kabali and Kaala kind of films, where he tried to re-invent he went back to his strengths in this film. The first hour of the film is still highly entertaining. It is the climax that director, Karthik Subbaraj messed up but he presented Rajni, the best.

Movie has Arjun in a negative role and the senior actor is at his best too. You can just enjoy the film while getting educated about a pertinent problem.

His love, his inability to perform as well as his father expects him to in studies and the frustration all this creates in the young man’s life is all shown well in this movie. Even though the theme is pretty old, the director came up with a convincing narrative. Sri Vishnu delivered one of his best performances in the film. Not a gem, but definitely not a bad film too.

Venky Atluri after not having a highly successful career as an actor turned into a good writer-director with this film. Above all, Varun Tej’s performance in the movie needs to be praised as well. Even though it is a film that asks you to not to take it too seriously, he does come up with a message of how hatred is just waste of time. Music in the movie is also very fresh and it will help your viewing as well.
A good comedy thriller that again did not get much box office appreciation when it released. It is not a great film but it definitely deserves to be viewed. It did not tell a story as effectively as Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi or Brochevarevarura which fall in same category but it is a through entertainer. Give it a try.
