The theatrical trailer for Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film, Beast is released by the makers this evening as a Ugadi festival special. Set in Chennai backdrop, the trailer opens with an episode where East Coast Mall in city will be hijacked by terrorists.
In the same mall, the public in it will be made hostages by the terrorists. But the twist is that the intelligence team gives information to the state government that a soldier named Veeraraghavan( Vijay) will also be in the same mall. How will Veeraraghavan who is best known as the Beast in the military camp rescue the hostages? Is expected to be the main crux of the plotline. While Vijay is showcased as a tough soldier, the action sequences are presented in a gripping manner with a hard-hitting background score by Anirudh Ravichander. Overall, Beast trailer is outstanding and generated curiosity among the audience.
Being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Beast has Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Sun Pictures banner bankrolled this high-budget actioner which is slated to hit the screens in all South languages along with Hindi on April 13th.
