Be Your Own Competitor, Says Vijay

The audio launch event for Tamil star Vijay’s upcoming film, Varisu happened last night in Chennai. Along with the cast and crew, Thalapathy fans attended in large numbers to lavish audio launch event.

Addressing fans and guests at the Audio launch event, Vijay said”In the 1990s, an actor came as a competitor. After some time, he became a serious competitor. He came everywhere I went, and I kept working hard to beat him, and still do. And the name is Thalapathy Vijay. Be your own competitor”.

On the other hand, the film’s producer Dil Raju during his speech said”He is Number1, Number1..I myself became a fan”. The film’s female lead Rashmika Mandanna said”After watching Ghilli, I become a big fan of Thalapathy Vijay”.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Varisu will have a simultaneous release in Telugu as Vaarasudu. Co-starring Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Prakash Raj among others in key roles, Varisu/Vaarasudu is gearing up for a grand release on January 12th.
