The shooting for Nagarjuna’s upcoming film, Bangarraju is underway at a fast pace. Being directed by Kalyan Krishna, the film is a spin-off to Nag’s 2016 blockbuster, Soggade Chinni Nayana. Bangarraju also stars Naga Chaitanya in a key role and has Krithi Shetty as the female lead opposite Chay.
A couple of months ago, we had reported that Bangarraju will also have fantasy elements and some portion of the film will happen in heaven. News also came out that even Bigg Boss 5 fame Monal Gajjar is under consideration for a special role as Rambha in the movie. Now, the latest we hear is that three noted heroines such as Vedhika, Meenakshi Dixit and Darshini are finalized to play Rambha, Urvashi and Meneka roles in Bangarraju in the heaven portions.
Nagarjuna himself is producing Bangarraju under his Annapurna Studios banner. Ramya Krishna is doing a key role. Anup Rubens is scoring music for the film which is aiming for a Sankranthi 2022 release.
