Released on January 14th as a Sankranthi festival special, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya’s rural drama, Bangarraju had witnessed a decent opening in twin Telugu states. Despite Covid third wave circumstances, the film has registered good revenues by the end of its first weekend.
But from last Monday, the film has been witnessing a decline in the collections and there is no improvement in the revenues during the weekend also. Meanwhile, the latest reports from trade indicate that Bangarraju is going to end up as a disaster in Nizam and will be a loss venture for all the parties involved in the Andhra region. Overall, the film is going to end up as a commercial flop at the box office, say sources.
Directed by Kalyan Krishna, Bangarraju also has Ramya Krishna and Krithi Shetty in prominent roles. The film’s music composed by Anup Rubens failed to impress the audience.
