Balayya’s director works for Superstar’s next

A film is the combination of Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth and Nelson Dilipkumar of Beast fame was formally announced a couple of months back. Tentatively titled Thalaivar 169, we had already revealed that evergreen Aishwarya Rai is locked as the female lead and actress Ramya Krishnan is roped in for a key role in the movie.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that senior director AS Ravi Kumar, who earlier directed Telugu films like Jai Simha and Ruler with Balayya is providing screenplay for Rajinikanth’s movie. Yet another interesting aspect is that Rajinikanth is providing story for the movie.

Anirudh will be scoring soundtracks for this as-yet-untitled film which is expected to go on the floors in July. Sun Pictures banner is bankrolling this prestigious project.
