Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film, Akhanda under the direction of Boyapati Seenu is in its final leg of shooting. Though the makers have already announced that the film will hit the screens on May 28th, due to ongoing Covid circumstances it is likely to postpone further.
The film unit has been continuously shooting for the film for the past few months. Recently, the makers gave a brief gap to the shoot considering the widespread Corona second wave cases.
Now, the latest news is that the unit is planning to resume the shoot from the 12th of this month. As per the inside info, though the makers are not in a hurry to wrap up the shooting till the Covid situation comes to normalcy, Balayya and Boyapati are keen on resuming the shoot and wrap up a small yet key schedule for the movie in Hyderabad. While many senior and young heroes are staying away from the shoot, this kind of attitude by Balayya during Covid hard times is surprising everyone.
Also starring Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna in the female lead roles, Akhanda is being bankrolled by Miryala Ravinder Reddy. Thaman is the music composer.
