Today at NTR Trust Bhavan, actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna addressed Telangana TDP members, pledging unwavering support for Chandrababu Babu amidst what he labeled as “bogus accusations” in court.
Balakrishna didn’t mince words, openly criticizing those who he believed were feigning compassion for the TDP leader solely for political gain. Balakrishna expressed frustration, pointing out that many critics of Naidu’s arrest focused on his age and portrayed it as “injustice,” while overlooking the absence of concrete evidence or any proven fraud.
Balakrishna decided against making accusations when asked about the central government’s involvement in Chandrababu Naidu’s detention until he had a clearer grasp of the circumstances. He did praise Pawan Kalyan for his prompt condemnation of the arrest, though.
Regarding the film industry people silence on the matter, Balakrishna dismissed it as a political issue, stating, “I don’t care!” When asked about Jr. NTR’s silence on Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest, Balakrishna emphatically replied, “I don’t care, bro… I don’t care. That is my next picture, and not just in cinema, but in life outside as well.” Balakrishna’s “I don’t care” remark hints at a strained relationship between him and Jr. NTR and, in a way, concludes the discussion on NTR and the TDP’s current relationship.
