Fortnight, Nandamuri Balakrishna and his Jai Simha team celebrated the success of their film. The movie earned mixed talk but good revenue to emerge as the Sankranti Topper with other movies not being able to register a good fight. Mainly, Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavasi failed to even go beyond the first day as the negative word of mouth killed the run of the movie on the release day itself.
Balakrishna in his speech said, ” We don’t have to deliver big hits or Industry hits all the time. A film that earns enough amount to fill the pockets of producers and distributors will be a much better success that will help the Industry to grow and flourish.” These comments have attracted major attention as the Industry in reeling in doldrums after big movies failing to live up to the initial hype and convert them into collections.
Later he made remarks about his height and said, ” I am the shortest one in this film compared to all others. During Narasimha Naidu, director asked few actors to go away as they were taller than me. I asked him to let them be in the movie and that same incident has come to my memory when i see the people with whom I worked in this movie. Prabhakar, Katar Singh all are taller than me in this movie.” Well, these comments have made Telugu social media to notice his sportive nature and appreciate him for being brutally honest.
