Balakrishna has completed shooting for Akhanda 2 but the release date has been uncertain. The latest update suggests the film is likely to release on December 5th.
Meanwhile Balakrishna is all set to team up again with director Gopichand Malineni for a powerful mass entertainer.
This will be their second project together after the success of Veerasimha Reddy. In this new film Balaaya will be seen in a dual role.
The movie will be launched on October 2nd, coinciding with the Dasara festival and shooting will begin right after. The casting process is still underway.
Music will be composed by Thaman, while Venkata Satish Kilaru will produce it under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner. The makers are planning a grand release during Dasara 2026.
Alongside this, Balakrishna also has a project with director Krish, which is expected to go on floors this year.
