Puri Jagannath, the maverick director of Telugu Cinema, had been known for his fading skills and outspoken quality. His starting films have earned him so much respect and fan following that he still commands. Many youngsters who watch Badri, Idiot, Sivamani, Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi, Pokiri and Itlu Sravani Subrahmanyam, find it hard to not trust Puri when he says this time, I am making a better film than my previous one. It has become his slogan these days but with Rogue, he broke all the trust with just a simple teaser.

Even though it is good to see something new on screen but a brilliant writer like him resorting to retarded ideology does make one feel like he is losing it mentally as well. Not going too much into his personal space, the director wanted to direct Megastar Chiranjeevi and when the actor said, he was happy with first half, the director announced the movie in social media and was ecstatic. But to his frustration, the second narration and especially, second half became a deal breaker and the director was public in his disappointment. Even his guru, Ram Gopal Verma went on a war supporting Puri, saying that Mega150 should not have been a remake.

Puri got even more frustrated when Mahesh did not confirm their project, Jana Gana Mana even after he announced it. After long time, he finally got a nod from Balakrishna for his 101 and this time, the director planned till the release date as well. The movie started today and the source close to the team, revealed that the script of the movie was nothing but Auto Johnny, the script director wanted to make with Chiranjeevi and he did make few changes for Balayya. Well, the truth can only be confirmed once the film releases.
