Nandamuri Balakrishna is known for his action roles and charitable work. He is once again in the news for reportedly offering his land to help reduce traffic congestion around KBR Park in Hyderabad.
The Telangana government is planning a 4.3-km elevated corridor as part of its traffic improvement plans.
According to reports, Balakrishna has agreed to give 862.77 square yards of land from his Jubilee Check Post residence to GHMC.
The house holds sentimental value as his father, NT Rama Rao, used to meet fans there.
Film producer Bhavya Anand Prasad has reportedly offered 341.33 square yards, while producer Shyam Prasad Reddy has agreed to provide 608 square yards for road development.
