Balakrishna opting for grounded films?

Balakrishna is not someone who is known to make really grounded films. All of his action sequences are usually over the top, which made him the centre of attention for many trolls. Nevertheless, Balakrishna remains famous for his ott action sequences, with fans loving those in his films.

According to the latest reports though, Balakrishna is reportedly interested in doing films that are more grounded, from now on. He has reportedly instructed director Gopichand Malineni to remove some laughable fight sequences from the script, as the actor is interested in doing things that are suitable for his age. Gopichand is working on a script that is based on real-life incidents, where Balakrishna will be seen playing a powerful police officer.

Balakrishna’s films with Gopichand is expected to begin after he wraps up Akhanda, which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu. There are a lot of expectations on Akhanda, which is expected to release for Vinayaka Chaviti this year. The teaser of the film created new records on YouTube, and fans are eagerly waiting for the film. Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna are the leading ladies of the film, while Thaman is the music director. An official release date of Akhanda is yet to be announced.
