Nandamuri Balakrishna is on a success streak, delivering multiple hits. He is now getting his highest-ever fee of Rs. 40 crores for Akhanda 2, which is also the most expensive film of his career.
The film is being made on a huge budget and there’s strong demand for its theatrical and non-theatrical rights. Balakrishna is also set to reunite with director Gopichand Malineni for another big film.
This project has been in discussion for a long time, mainly due to the high budget involved. Balakrishna has reportedly demanded a massive Rs. 50 crore remuneration, and the makers have agreed to it.
The film will be produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, who is also backing Ram Charan’s Peddi. It will be made under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner and is planned as a full-on mass entertainer.
The shoot is expected to begin early next year, and more updates will be shared officially soon.
