Balakrishna-Gopichand’s film starts today

Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently on a roll, thanks to the grand success of his film Akhanda, and the stupendous response that his talk show for Aha, Unstoppable with NBK, has received. While a sequel for Akhanda is in works, as confirmed by director Boyapati Srinu, a second season of Unstoppable is also in the works.

Balakrishna was on a break until now, and is now back to work, his latest film, with director Gopichand Malineni having started today. The film was announced quite some time ago, but the shooting hasn’t started until today. Shruti Haasan is on board as the leading lady, marking her third collaboration with the director, after Balupu and Krack, and Thaman is on board as the music director of the film.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who portrayed a key role, is also a part of the film, in yet another key role. Mythri Movie Makers are producers of the film. Balakrishna will be seen in the role of a powerful police officer in the film. On the other hand, Balakrishna is expected to join the sets of Anil Ravipudi’s film, after he wraps up this film.
