The El Clasico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, which was aired worldwide, included Bairiya by Arijit Singh as the first Bollywood music to ever be displayed on the digital perimeter boards. The match was played at FC Barcelona’s home stadium, Camp Nou.
By introducing Indian music to international audiences, Arijit is bringing honour to India and making history. Yesterday, Bairiya flashed through the game in front of the stadium crowd and spectators around the globe. The song “Bairiya” was written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, has music by Goldie Sohel, and was sung by Arijit.
