Bahubali2 is up for release this Friday and soon all the theatres are going to open booking counters online and at theatres. With unprecedented hype and craze for tickets, the movie producers are worried that black marketing will be at its high along with piracy and due to heavy demand, the problem for law and order in controlling the crowds could also arise. The first part of the movie, Bahubali, The Beginning, released to a grand hype and the problems occurred during the time have become a cause of worry for producers of the Magnum Opus.
Many thought about what could be the right solution for such an issue as people have all the rights to watch the movie they would like to and at time they prefer to as well. Already the ticket rates are high and if people are subjected to black marketing then it will result in audience going for other means to watch the movie, like encouraging pirated copies. Also looking at the demand, there is every chance for stampede at theatres and producers requested Andhra Pradesh government to sanction six shows per day at every theatre for at least ten days and the government accepted it.
Now, Devineni Prasad, one of the producers met Talasani Srinvas Yadav, the Telangana Cinematography Minister, to sanction five shows per day for at least period of first ten days and asked them to take measures to prevent black marketing of tickets. Minister, responded favourably to the requests and said, “Bahubali is a special film that put Telugu pride on world map and we would like to help it every manner for a smooth release. The black ticketers will be punished severely and we congratulate producers for making such a brilliant film and all the best for release on 28th.” Prasad Devineni expressed his gratitude towards the government for quick response and said, “Tickets should be available online to all sections of audience and we are thankful to Telangana government for listening to our plea and giving us permission to exhibit five shows, a day.”
