Bahubali, the Telugu sensational movie that crossed borders and established a great market for itself all over India is truly turning into India’s Star wars by venturing into different possible media outlets and before the release of Bahubali 2 it seems to be likely take the franchise even forward with different stories and back stories of the characters that this amazing world has given us. The movie fans remember the characters of Sivagami, Sivudu and Amarendra Bahubali like anything after watching the first movie. Even the characters of Devasena, Bhallala Deva, Bijjala Deva are being remembered with awe.
In all these the most powerful has to be Sivagami who single handled seized the rebel and looked after the Kingdom for good 20 years till her son’s became eligible through war. Her sacrifice to rescue Mahendra Bahubali in the film’s first scene made her the best character created by Telugu Cinema in recent decades. Now a writer has decided to take her character forward by writing a story of her. Rise of Sivagami is one of the books being released as a part of trilogy of books, Bahubali – Before the Beginning. Ananda Neelakantan who wrote books like Asura, Roll of Dice, Rise of Kali is writing these books and on 20th January, Rajamouli will release the cover of the book, Rise of Sivagami.
