Backlash Or Break? Rahul Ramakrishna Leaves X

Rahul Ramakrishna’s X (Twitter) account suddenly disappeared on Friday morning, a day after his political posts supporting BRS leaders KCR and KTR went viral.

On Thursday night, Rahul posted several strong comments, saying Telangana was facing “terrible times” under the current Congress government.

In one tweet, he tagged KTR and compared him to Dumbledore from Harry Potter, writing, “Can’t wait for Dumbledore to come back. Go ahead, murder me now. I’m sick and tired of things anyway”. In another, he tagged KCR and warned of “destruction” if things continued.

The tweets quickly spread gaining thousands of likes and shares. BRS supporters celebrated the unexpected backing and linked his comments to public frustration over floods, unemployment and communal issues.

Critics, however, hit back, calling it an “attention stunt”. Some even mocked his Harry Potter reference, while others dug up his old controversial remarks.

By the next morning, his handle showed only the standard deactivation notice, leaving people guessing, was it backlash, hacking, or his own choice?
