Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran’s last film, Cold Case skipped its theatrical release and opted for a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video last month. Now, the latest news is that Prithviraj’s upcoming film, Kuruthi is also going to skip its theatrical release and go for a direct digital release.
Reportedly, Kuruthi’s digital streaming are also bagged by noted OTT platform Amazon Prime Video and planning to release on August 11th as an Onam festival special. An official announcement regarding the same came out this afternoon on Amazon Prime’s social media platforms.
Being directed by Manu Warrier, Kuruthi has Murali Gopy, Roshan Mathew, Shine Tom Chacko and Srindaa in supporting roles.
One will cut ties and the other will protect! This Onam, witness thrill, drama, and everything in between.
