Bachchhan Paandey Trailer: A blend of two

The trailer of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film, Bachchhan Paandey, has been released today. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film is a remake of the Tamil film Jigarthanda, which was remade in Telugu as Gaddalakonda Ganesh, by director Harish Shankar, with Varun Tej in the lead role.

Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez and several others are a part of this film, which looks like an out and out commercial entertainer. While the film is adapted from Jigarthanda, it has completely been changed up, with a lot of its elements borrowed from Telugu’s Gaddalakonda Ganesh, especially the commercial elements.

Bachchhan Paandey is scheduled to be released in theatres on March 18th, and the film carries a good buzz in the Northern market. Akshay Kumar’s transformation for the role in the film looks highly impressive, which has further increased the expectations on the film.
