The main role of the movie was played by Prabhas, his role was a double role, as he played both the characters, Amarendra Bahubali, and Mahendra Bahubali. Raja Mata, played by Ramya Krishna is the foster mother of our main hero bahubali, Raja Mata is a powerful character as she is the one who takes care of the mahishmati kingdom. She is a skilled fighter, feared by her enemies. She is a true leader who treats everyone equally. She is the one who takes care of bahubali and ballala deva and she teaches them to be worthy heirs of the throne and when the time comes she decides to make one of them a king of Mahishmathi. She won the hearts of fans with her superb character and acting skills and she is one of those characters who will be very close to our hearts.

But turns out He was ordered by Sivagami and Bhallaladeva (then rulers) to kill Baahubali. Kattapa played by Satyraj is a loyal soldier of the Mahishmati kingdom, he is the Commander of Kings’s royal bodyguards and Capital guards. Devasena played by Anushka Shetty is the princess of Kuntala Kingdom the warrior and the wife of Bahubali and the mother of Shivudu. She is a brave and humble princess, Devasena is a skilled fighter and a great archer. Baahubali falls in love with her during a visit to Kuntala kingdom and they both get married. After the birth of Mahendra Baahubali, she is tormented for 25 years and held captive, Over time we get to feel for the character Devasena and Anushka Shetty does a tremendous job.
Avantika played by Tamannaah is a skilled warrior and a fighter of the rebel group, Mahendra Baahubali falls in love with her and she later accepts him after she comes to know that he climbed the hill just for her. Her only aim is to save Devasena from the trap in Mahishmati set by Bhallaladeva. She married Mahendra Baahubali and became the Queen of Mahishmati.
Bijjaladeca played by Nasser is the husband of Sivagami and the father of Bhallaladeva. The former prince of Mahishmati, during the reign of his father, Somadeva. He was a born handicapped and had many bad habits like drinking and that was the reason that he was replaced by his younger brother as the king of Mahishmati. When Amendra Bahubali was made king, his hatred for him increased even more and he set together a plan to take over Mahishmati. He helps his Ballala Deva in taking over the Mahishmati Kingdom.
Kalakeya played by Prabhakar is a warlord who comes to occupy and take the kingdom of Mahishmati with over 1 lakh soldiers with him. He wages war against the Mahishmati Kingdom, He and his army have a special language through which they communicate, this was a new language made up only for the film, It was called ‘kilikili’. This was appreciated by the fans and the critics and the language became one of the most entertaining parts of Bahubali.
Aslam Khan Played by Sudeep is a sword-merchant from Persia, who befriends Kattappa during the weapons trade. He creates majestic weapons and supplies his weapons are very special as he creates the weapons in a completely unique way. He is one of the most beloved characters from the first film and fans still love him and can’t get enough of him.
