Bahubali is the essence of the month and everywhere people are discussing about the songs and publicity events the team is coming up with. The team were very active during the Bahubali The Beginning, release and this time, they are holding back as much as possible so that, the interest in the audience will stay long till the release of the movie. As part of promotions, the team decided to re-release the Hindi version of the movie again as per the advice of Hindi distributor and famous director, producer, Karan Johar.
Accordingly, the movie got released on 7th April, marking the month of April as Bahubali month and the director expected the movie to be a litmus test for the brand Bahubali in the audience. He released the movie in more than 1000 screens and hoped that he audience would show same enthusiasm towards the movie as they have for the first release. But his plans did not work out as he expected as the movie ended up collecting less than 2 crores over a wide release. Now, the team Bahubali even though assured of a much bigger and better response for the new film, want to wipe it out of their memories and build the brand even more aggressively.
The sources reliable and close to the team, shared that the producers Prasad Devineni and Shobu Yarlagadda were not too much into the idea as they thought it would be taken by public as just another gimmick to promote the movie and earn more in this digital world. Even Rajamouli was not fully charged for the idea and they resisted at first. Since they did not want to have any fight with Karan Johar, the team let him to do so and now are busy in planning a Nation wide promotional tour that would negate any negative effect by the re-release and are all set to again campaign with the famous question, “Why Kattappa Killed Bahubali?” For Bahubali: The Conclusion. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannah Bhatia and Anushka will appear in different TV shows for promoting the movie as per the sources.
