Taking off from the first installment of Baahubali, Sardaar Gabbar Singh, we have seen it has become the trend in T’town to offer loads of money for the satellite rights of films even before they are remotely close to release. The buzz is that producers of Baahubali: The Conclusion have been offered Rs 150 crores for Hindi rights. That’s an enormous amount, one has to agree.
Yash Raj Films has reportedly offered this astounding sum! The first part, Baahubali: The Beginning, was bought by Karan Johar and it has made a business of Rs 130 crores in the HIndi version. The second part is expected to collect much more. Rajamouli had promised that, the second installment will be made with heightened effects and on a much more grand scale. No wonder people are making a beeline for the satellite rights from now itself!
