If only people took posts on Twitter seriously and decided to make a note of it! A while ago, a few photos from the sets of Baaghi were leaked and ever since, there has been a buzz that the film is a remake of Prabahs starrer Varsham. But guess what! The news isn’t true at all. Way back in June 2015, Sudheer Babu, who is playing the antagonist in the film posted on Twitter: “Baaghi is not a remake of varsham. False news. (sic).”
Well, he did set the record straight. But sadly, once the trailer of Baaghi was released recently, social media again went busy discussing how there’s no similarity with Varsham and how “disappointed” they are! But people, it’s not even a remake! So why are we fretting so much. Sudheer Babu even confirmed this to us and said, “The film isn’t a remake but there might be a few similarities but you can’t definitely call it a remake.” So please, stop discussing about the “lack of similarity” now.
