Superhit Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum is making more noise in the Telugu States. We all know that renowned production house Sithara Entertainments has bagged the remake rights of the film before the lockdown and since then the production house has been trying to lock in the project.
Sagar Chandra of Ayyare and Appatlo Okadundevadu fame has been given the responsibility to change the script to suit the Telugu nativity. Initially, Ravi Teja and Rana Daggubati were approached for the remake and both the stars have shown interest.
However, things changed upside down when Pawan Kalyan came into the picture. It was reported that he was interested in the remake. So, Sithara Entertainments have changed the plans and were in search of another director to helm the project.
Things didn’t pan as expected and Pawan has decided to back off. He will be resuming Krish’s project after the completion of Vakeel Saab. On the other hand, Sithara Entertainments is back to square one. They stick to their original combination.
