‘Dream Girl 2’, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, will hit theatres on August 25.
Ayushmann Khurrana, a versatile actor who will play a woman in “Dream Girl 2,” has acknowledged that it is “too difficult” to be a woman and play a woman.
Ayushmann discussed the film, the training he through for the role, the difficulties he had, etc. while he was in the nation’s capital for the release of the song “Dil Ka Telephone 2.0” from “Dream Girl 2”.
Ayushmann Khurrana had a difficult time with the part since he had to alternate between playing Karam and Pooja all the while making sure the punchlines and comedic timing were on point.
During interviews with the media, he stated the following in reference to the same: “The 2.0 version of ‘Dream Girl’ is not just about the voice, it’s also about the ‘being’. It’s change, appearance, and once I finished filming for this movie, I realised it’s too challenging to be a lady. Ladki hona usse bhi jyada mushkil, or Ladki bannaa bahot mushkil hai. Everything is for feminism.

In addition, Ayushmann opened India’s only standalone theatre, the PVR IMAX, at Delhi’s renowned Priya Cinema. Ajay Bijli, the managing director of PVR INOX Limited, and his son Aamer Bijli, the lead specialist for international film marketing at the same company, were both present at the event.
The cutting-edge theatre will use IMAX with Laser technology, which combines a multi-channel sound system with a next-generation laser projection for a totally immersive viewing experience.
Ayushmann recalled his adolescent years by saying, “I have been on many dates in this particular property (Priya cinema).” I used to run away from my loved ones and friends. Being here feels very unreal, and this is quite nostalgic. Ajay Bijli’s love of films is evident in the type of work they produce.
‘Dil Ka Telephone 2.0’ is a vivacious song with peppy melody and lots of energy. The song now features more beats, more antics, and more energy. The song is composed by Meet Bros, and Meet Bros collaborated with Jonita Gandhi and Jubin Nautiyal to give the vocals. Kumaar is the author of the song’s lyrics.
The charming Ayushmann and the vivacious Ananya Panday take centre stage as they take the lead in “Dream Girl 2.” Abhishek Banerjee, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Rajpal Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Mano Joshi, Annu Kapoor, and Asrani are among the other actors who appear in the movie.
